Public Engagement

Our Engagement Philosophy

Public engagement is a critical component of our efforts to develop industry best practices for trust and safety. DTSP engages widely with consumer and user advocates, policymakers, law enforcement, relevant NGOs and various industry-wide experts to help us evolve our approach to trust and safety best practices.

As a U.S.-based organization that aims to develop best practices that can be applied globally, international engagement is especially important for DTSP.

Our engagement strategy is rooted in our experience that external stakeholders bring invaluable insights about what trust and safety practices work and how they can be improved. As our partnership evolves, it is important to remain informed by these viewpoints. Equally important, we want to raise awareness about industry efforts and best practices with other stakeholders.

How We Engage With Stakeholders

DTSP’s Outreach and Engagement Committee sets our overarching strategy for public engagement, which takes place through biannual webinarsevents, collaborations, consultations, and one-on-one meetings.
